Welcome to our new site! For those of you that do not know me, I am Brian Chuey and I teach 7th grade US history on the best team at the middle school, the Green Team! I look forward to working with each student this year and watching everyone grow into successful, young adults. Along with my passion for teaching, I also am a sports nut. My favorite teams are the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Celtics, Notre Dame football and my pride and joy Providence College Men's Basketball. I graduated in 2006 from Assumption College and began teaching at North Smithfield in 2006. I was very fortunate to be hired by such a great school district and look forward to another 40 years teaching in this district. (Retirement is a long way off for me unfortunately. My golf game will have to wait!) I look forward to a great year with many laughs and fun moments! YANKEES STINK!!!!!!!!!

As a teacher in the North Smithfield school district since 2006, I am pleased to be a continuous member of this awesome team of teachers and students!!! I am looking forward to an academically rigorous, yet exciting and fun-filled year with you as my students! I am Miss Blais and I am a graduate of Roger Williams University. I am currently continuing my education at Providence College working towards my graduate degree. I also spent a semester studying in Florence, Italy, at the Institute of Fine and Liberal Arts at Palazzo Ruccelai, where I was immersed in the culture and literature of the Renaissance period. Besides reading and writing, I LOVE to travel, especially any place that is along the ocean! (I LOVE CAPE COD and I LOVE CAMPING!!!) I am also a huge sports fan, and I love the Sox. I am really good at Guitar Hero 3, and own a Wii and try to use my Wii fit daily (yes, teachers sometimes play video games too!) I am the Yearbook advisor as well as the advisor/creator/director of North Smithfield's first Drama Club! I look forward to an exciting year as your teacher! Be prepared for challenges and always give me your very best. I will not settle for less.
